What language would be easier to learn? I want to try Japanese. Been doing self study for almost 2 weeks now. It’s still difficult to form sentences.I was thinking of memorizing the useful expressions alone, but I think It would be much better to learn the whole language itself. Ganbatte! I do hope after 6 months I’ll be able to say Omedetoo Gozaimasu .. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
Something new..
I know how to dance. I can do all sorts if taught. I can sing, but my voice is not the type that would ruin your replay button. I know how to cook, and my brother says its ok, for a very hungry stomach which doesn’t care. I can drive a car, but I haven’t got myself reunited with a car for the past 2 years. I’m good with directions, but I still have to assume the “hold a pen” position to know if its the “right” hand. Sports? hmm.. I can swim, 2-3 lapses and I can barely feel my lungs; basketball, I’m only 5 flat; volleyball, nah! I just give them the ball because they always say “mine”, well I’m a good team player. So ok, this leaves me with a single thing that I know hold no boundaries. Writing.
I’ve always loved to write. Writing allows me to breathe my own air, to lighten my burden, to pacify my anger, to expand my way of thinking and to just be me. Scribbles, doodles and meaningless stuff- its all part of the hobby. Yeah, it hold no boundaries. I may not have the best voice, but my words will be as sweet and as loud as any music played, thus songwriters exist. I may be small, but my words will be big enough to carry me, to tell the world, “hey, never mess up with this kid, he’s tough with words..”
I may not be the best athlete, not in the chorale or the dance troupe. But writing took me to places I’ve never been and made possible, the things, even dreams couldn’t bring to life.
